Just a few months after the launch, Porsche is expanding its charging service for plug-in and electric vehicles ( earlier post ) by five countries and additional functions. A new feature offered by the Porsche Charging Service is a rating function. In Germany, the fee for using the Porsche Charging Service is €2.50 (US$2.86) per month.

Porsche reports that around 60% of all new Panamera models that have been delivered in Europe were equipped with a hybrid drive. THINK, the Scandinavian electric vehicle (EV) maker, has re-started production of the THINK City—one of the first urban EVs—at a new facility with manufacturing partner Valmet Automotive in Uusikaupunki, Finland. Valmet Automotive also produces Garia and Fisker alternative-fuel vehicles as well as Porsche AG’s Boxster and Cayman.
