Already there’s been plenty of local interest stirred up by the Rivian R1T, Fiord F-150 Lightning and the Chevrolet Silverado EV. Apart from the previously mentioned brands, Geely also owns – among others – sportscar brand Lotus , Malaysia’s Proton, the taxi cab maker, the London Electric Vehicle Company and Zeekr.

Ammonia borane in its normal state releases 12 wt% of hydrogen at temperatures between 110 °C and 150 °C, but with very slow kinetics. Many are also difficult to handle in that they degrade rapidly in air. Cella’s current composite material uses ammonia borane (NH 3 BH 3 ) as the hydride and polystyrene as the polymer nano-scaffold.
