T&E study finds plug-in hybrids show higher CO2 emissions than claimed

Three of the most popular plug-in hybrids in 2020 all emitted more CO 2 than advertised when tested in the real world, according to tests commissioned by European environmental NGO Transport & Environment (T&E). Our tests show that even in optimal conditions, with a full battery, the cars pollute more than advertised.

Hong Kong Government to Buy 10 i-MiEV EVs

Production version of i-MiEV unveiled

Considered by many to be the ultimate eco-car, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation finally unveiled the production version of the i-MiEV as part of World Environment Day in Tokyo. The company will then start sales of the i-MiEV to individuals starting in April 2010 with orders to be taken on the Mitsubishi website starting in late July.
