Hengst Filtration, a leading Germany-based filtration manufacturer, has officially launched its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. This strategic move, involving an initial investment of 2 million Euros, marks the company’s foray into the Indian market, underlining India’s critical role as both a significant market and a future hub for exports.

Group CEO of Hengst Filtration, Christopher Heine, commented on the expansion, “India represents a significant growth opportunity for Hengst Filtration. The country’s expanding economy, coupled with its growing demand for filtration systems across industries, makes it an ideal fit for our expansion plans. We are confident that our innovative solutions that bundle filtration for industry and the environment will be well-received by our Indian customers.”

The newly inaugurated facility in Yelahanka, covering 36,000 square feet, is set to produce a wide array of products catering to different industry verticals. This development is a key component of Hengst’s long-term strategy to tap into the Indian market and to look into export opportunities from India.
