Three-hundred-sixty degrees of data is collected from the battery pack, individual driver behavior, and the external environment and ingested by Electra’s EVE-Ai™ 360 Adaptive Controls. EVE-Ai™ collects and applies this abundance of data to extend range and battery lifetime; develop intelligent charging strategies; and accurately calculate battery State of Health and State of Charge.
Once ingested by EVE-Aiâ„¢ 360 Adaptive Controls, the data is then sent to the Cloud to refine the Adaptive Battery Digital Twin, which is the basis of all EVE-Aiâ„¢ battery controls decisions. The EVE-Aiâ„¢ Adaptive Battery Digital Twin combines physics-based and machine learning-based algorithms using real-time data for a continuously updating battery model that provides the utmost accuracy.
The updated EVE-Aiâ„¢ Adaptive Battery Digital Twin is communicated to the electric vehicle utilizing Cloud connectivity. In response, EVE-Aiâ„¢ refines current battery control strategies and provides the driver charging, discharging, and driving recommendations, as well as battery alerts for improved user and vehicle functionalities.
Electra’s EVE-Ai™ can be installed onboard the vehicle in the application layer of the BMS for direct battery control, all while obeying BMS safety limits and protocols. EVE-Ai™ can also be installed in an ECU for increased battery to vehicle data communication.
Electra Vehicles serves the eFleet industry using EVE-Aiâ„¢ Fleet Analytics web-based platform. Electric fleets using EVE-Aiâ„¢ Fleet Analytics send compiled battery data to the backend interface. EVE-Aiâ„¢ Fleet Analytics provides fleet-level battery insights, State of Health estimations, and State of Charge calculations, all based on the Adaptive Battery Digital Twin.
