The aim of the Alliance is to scale-up, by 2030, the production and deployment of hydrogen as a fuel produced by means of low-emission technologies and renewable energy sources. Since then, hydrogen buses and trolleybuses produced by Solaris have been sold to operators in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Latvia.

Greenhouse gas emissions increased in the EU in 2010 as a result of both economic recovery in many countries after the 2009 recession and a colder winter, according to the latest greenhouse gas inventory published by the European Environment Agency (EEA). Emissions increased in 2010. below 1990 levels in 2010.

Average carbon dioxide emissions per kilometer continue to fall in Europe, according to preliminary figures released by the European Environment Agency (EEA). The average CO 2 emissions for these cars was 135.7 Portugal, Malta and Denmark had registered the most carbon-efficient cars on average, with emissions of 125g CO 2 /km or less.

Nordic Green, a company focused on the introduction of bio-methanol, has signed an Agency Agreement with BioMCN , a producer of bio-methanol, for the representation and sales of bio-methanol in Nordic (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland) and Baltic (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) countries.
