Air France KLM signs 210M gallon SAF offtake agreement with DG Fuels

DG Fuels (DGF), a provider of cellulosic drop-in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), signed a multi-year SAF offtake agreement with Air France KLM for up to 60,408 metric tons (21 million gallons) per year from DGF’s initial plant to be located in Louisiana. DGF’s cellulosic feedstock does not impair food supply and is essentially water neutral.

Alstom and MOL to explore use of hydrogen technologies for rail transport in Hungary

Alstom and MOL, Hungary’s leading oil and gas company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to structure cooperation in examining the use of hydrogen technology in rail transportation. MOL Group already produces and utilizes almost 150,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year. Operating these trains requires hydrogen refueling stations.

Gaussin partnering with TGO to test hydrogen-powered terminal tractor

Gaussin and Terminal du Grand Ouest (TGO), concessionaire and sole operator of the Montoir-based Multipurpose Cargo and Container Terminal (MCCT) near Saint- Nazaire, France, are partnering to test a hydrogen-powered heavy-duty terminal tractor.
