Ola Electric begins deliveries of its electric scooter, wait is over! 

The Ola Electric a Bengaluru based mobility company has finally commenced the deliveries of its electric scooters S1 and S1 Pro starting from December 15. The Ola electric scooter was launched on 15th August 2021. Read further to know more about Ola electric scooter deliveries.

The CEO of Ola Electric Bhavish Aggarwal has announced the new delivery date on his Twitter profile. He said the deliveries of the Ola electric scooters in India will begin from December 15, 2021. “Scooters are getting ready 🙂 Production ramped up and all geared to begin deliveries from 15th Dec. Thank you for your patience!”

Ola Electric completed 20,000 test rides 

He also said that the company had completed 20,000 test rides. “Amazing work by the team in the largest such initiative ever in India, maybe even the world.” “We will get to more than 10,000 test rides a day in Dec across 1000 cities!”

Ola-most pre-booked scooter 1 million registrations 

Ola has received 1 million reservations for its electric scooter. It had received 1 lakh reservations within 24 hours. With 1 lakh of pre-booking, it has made Ola electric scooter the most pre-booked scooter in the world. The company had opened booking for its electric scooter on the evening of July 15.

The Ola Electric had started taking bookings for the first batch of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in September and now it is all set to accept the full and final payments for Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. The full payments can be done only by those customers who made Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro bookings in the first window.

The electric scooter is powered by a Hyperdrive motor that can produce a peak power output of 8.5kW. S1 is said to have a top speed of 90 Km/hr and a 2.98-kilowatt-hour battery pack. It can provide a range of 121 Km, while the Ola S1 Pro will have a top speed of 115 Km/hr and a 3.97-kilowatt-hour battery pack, it can give a range of 181 Km.

Both the models can accelerate 0 to 40km/hr speed in 3.6 sec and 3 sec respectively. Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro come with 2 riding modes normal and sports and normal, sports and hyper.

The Ola Electric had launched its two electric scooters S1 and S1 Pro, earlier this year. The ex-showroom price of S1 is Rs 99,999, while the S1 Pro can be purchased for Rs 1,29,999.
