Tesla has released a new teaser for the upcoming Cybertruck first delivery event later this week. The announcement included some information about the occasion, such as an updated start time for the delivery event.

Tesla posted the announcement through its official Cybertruck account on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. Tesla showed its usual playfulness in its post, noting that “this year it’s Cyber Thursday.” The electric vehicle maker also noted that the event would be at 2 p.m. CT (12 p.m. PT).

The post was a small update to the event’s previous announcement, as Tesla Head for Investor Relations Martin Viecha recently noted that the delivery event would be starting at around 1 p.m. CT (11 a.m. PT). The Tesla executive’s announcement came as a surprise to several Tesla watchers, as the electric vehicle maker typically holds its events — such as the Cyber Rodeo — at night.

Accompanying the announcement was a new poster featuring the all-electric pickup truck seemingly breaking through a cloud of dust. The Cybertruck’s now-iconic light bar and angular front end could be seen very clearly, together with the vehicle’s extremely large single wiper. The Cybertruck in the image seems to have its suspension raised as well, as hinted at by the pickup’s distance from the ground.

The Tesla Cybertruck is definitely a vehicle that grabs a lot of attention. Over the weekend alone, numerous posts from social media revealed that the Cybertruck display units that Tesla has featured in several of its physical stores are attracting a lot of attention from visitors. Some stores even have lines of people waiting to see the Cybertruck for themselves.

Tesla bull Gary Black of The Future Fund has noted that the Cybertruck would have a “halo effect” on Tesla’s entire vehicle lineup. This suggests that even those who will not be buying the Cybertruck could purchase one of Tesla’s other EVs since their attention was caught by the electric pickup. Such a scenario does not seem to be farfetched at all, considering that the Cybertruck is essentially a permanent rolling billboard for Tesla.
