Argonne Study Examines Impact of Real World Drive Cycles on Efficiency and Cost of Different PHEV Configurations

US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

A battery powered, all electric utility truck with an aerial device has been produced by Smith Electric Vehicles US Corporation in association with Altec Industries Inc. The full battery recharge takes six-eight hours. The trucks will be assembled at the company’s 80,000sq ft Kansas City plant.
