In a groundbreaking display at the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., a prominent Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, showcased its commitment to advancing the EV landscape. Under the brand name “Joy e-bike” for electric two-wheelers and “Joy e-rik” for electric commercial vehicles, the company unveiled six concept models, offering a glimpse into the future of sustainable transportation.

The array of concept models includes two high-speed electric scooters, reinforcing Wardwizard’s presence in the electric two-wheeler segment. Additionally, the company is venturing into the commercial electric vehicle sector with concept models of a six-seater Golf Cart, a Garbage Vehicle, an E-Cart, and an E-Loader Vehicle.

Taking innovation to the next level, Wardwizard introduced the next-generation hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyzer technology. A highlight of this showcase was the prototype of a Hydrogen-based Fuel Cell Powered Scooter, a pioneering foray into alternative cell chemistry. This demonstration exemplified Wardwizard’s commitment to innovation and its active pursuit of hydrogen technology to reshape the landscape of clean and efficient mobility in India and globally.

While still in the research and development stage, the concept of a Hydrogen-based fuel cell represents a crucial step towards meeting the evolving needs of the next generation of users. Once fully developed, this technology is expected to find applications across various segments, including utility vehicles. Wardwizard’s collaboration with Triton EV underlines the joint effort to push the boundaries of innovation in the electric vehicle sector.

Speaking at the Summit and outlining company’s future plans, Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd, said, “We are grateful to the Government of Gujarat for presenting us with the opportunity to showcase our vision in furthering sustainable mobility in the country and thereby strengthening India’s role as a global leader in the space. With initiatives like Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, the State Government is leading the transformation in sustainable mobility in India. Joy e-bike is keenly committed to providing safe and convenient electric mobility solutions, making EVs accessible for everyone. In coming years, EVs will become a necessity rather than an option. Innovation is our biggest strength, and as these EVs enter production, we believe that these concept EVs will revolutionise the segment. We are confident that these models will help in fulfilling customer demand along with giving them superlative experience of comfort and safe mobility. It gives us immense pleasure in introducing the concept of hydrogen-based fuel cell technology that showcases our R&D capabilities and commitment to a sustainable world.”

In addition to these advancements, Wardwizard’s recent partnership with A&S Power focuses on advancing Next-Generation Li-ion cell technology and manufacturing GAJA Cells. These technological strides will be presented alongside other concepts during the summit.

Wardwizard’s substantial investments, as per the recently inked INR 2000 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat, include research and development of electric two and three-wheelers, the establishment of a motor assembly facility in Vadodara, Li-ion cell production, and the development of ancillaries for raw material manufacturing. This strategic initiative is poised to create over 5,000 employment opportunities within the state, making a significant impact on both the electric mobility sector and the regional job market.
