Mahindra XUV 400

Mahindra XUV 400, electric vehicle launched in January 2023 with two variants – XUV 400 EC and XUV 400 EL. It is a five-seater, fully automatic electric car powered by a 72.6 kWh long-range lithium-ion battery that enables the motor to produce 214 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. A 50kW DC fast charger takes 50 minutes to charge 0-80%. The 7.2 kW/32A charger takes 6 hours 30 minutes, and the 3.3 kW/16A charger takes 13 hours 30 minutes. The top variant can sprint from 0-100 kph in 8.3 seconds with a top speed of 150 kmph and a driving range of 456 km. It has an eight-year battery warranty. 

Mahindra XUV 400 electric car offers a price range of Rs 15.99 to 18.99 lakhs, and all three SUV variants come in infinity blue, napoli black, arctic blue, galaxy grey, and everest white. The key features are an IP67-rated battery pack, a sunroof, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, six airbags, an overspeed warning system (ABS), electronic brake force distributions (EBD), and linked car technology with OTA.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is an electric vehicle launched in January 2023. It is a five-seater electric car powered by a 72.6 kWh long-range battery that enables the motor to produce 214 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 185 km/h and an ARAI-certified range of 631 km. It also has a dynamic and sporty acceleration that can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. 

The battery has an 800 V battery, a 72.6 kWh lithium-ion battery, and an 8-year battery warranty. A 350kW DC ultra-fast charger takes 18 minutes to complete 10-80%, and 50 kW DC takes 57 minutes. An 11 kW AC charger takes at least 6 hours and 55 minutes to charge fully. The electric car Ioniq 5 is available in a price range of Rs 45.95 lakhs with different colours such as gravity gold matte, optic white, and midnight black pearl. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 features include a push button start, cruise control, leather seats, and ventilated seats.

TATA Tigor EV

TATA launched the electric vehicle Tigor EV in November 2022 with four variants – XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux. It is a five-seater, fully automatic electric car powered by a 26 kWh lithium-ion battery that enables the motor to produce 74 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque. A DC fast charger takes 59 minutes to complete 10-80%. A 15A plug point takes at least 9.4 hours to charge fully. It has a top speed of 80 km/h and a driving range of 315 km. This electric vehicle has an eight-year battery warranty.The 

TATA Tigor EV is offered in a price range of Rs 12.49 to 13.75 lakhs and comes in multiple colours – signature teal blue, daytona grey, and magnetic red. It is waterproof and dustproof that works on ziptron technology. An anti-lock braking system, airbags, front fog lights, cruise control, and automated climate control are among the features of the TATA Tigor EV.

TATA Tiago EV

TATA Tiago EV, an electric vehicle launched in September 2022 with seven variants -XE, XT, XZ, XTA, XZ Plus, XZA, and XZA Plus. It is the cheapest five-seater electric car. The top variant is automatic with a 24 kWh lithium-ion battery and a motor that produces 74 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. A DC fast charger takes 57 minutes, and an AC plug point takes at least 3.6 hours to charge fully. It has a top speed of 120 km/h and a driving range of 315 km. This electric vehicle has an eight-year battery warranty.

The TATA Tiago EV is offered in a price range of Rs 8.69 to 11.99 lakhs and comes in multiple colours – daytona grey, flame red, opal white, midnight plum, and arizona blue. An anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic brake force distribution (EBD), dual airbags, fog lights, rear parking sensors, a seat-belt reminder, and overspeed warning are among the features of the TATA Tigor EV.

TATA Nexon EV Max

TATA Nexon EV Max, an electric vehicle launched in May 2022 with seven variants -XE, XT, XZ, XTA, XZ Plus, XZA, and XZA Plus. It is the cheapest five-seater electric car. The top variant is automatic with a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery and a motor that produces 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, claiming a 0-100 km h sprint in under 9 seconds. A 50kW DC fast charger takes 56 minutes to charge 0 to 80%, and a 3.3kW AC charger with a 15A plug takes at least 15 hours to charge fully. It has a top speed of 140 km/h and a driving range of 437 km. This electric vehicle has an eight-year battery warranty.

The TATA Nexon EV Max is offered in a price range of Rs 16.49 to 20.04 lakhs and comes in multiple colours – pristine white, daytona grey, and a new intensi-teal. The TATA Nexon EV Max has several features, including an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), airbags, cruise control, multiple drive modes, Zconnect-smartwatch compatibility, rain-sensing wipers, and automated climate control.

BYD ATTO3

The top variant is automatic with a 60.48 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery and a motor that produces 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, claiming a 0-100 kmph sprint in under 7.3 seconds. A 50kW DC fast charger takes 56 minutes to charge 10 to 80%, and a 7.2kW AC charger with a 32A plug takes at least 9.6 hours to charge fully. It has a top speed of 160 km/h and a driving range of 521 km. It has an eight-year battery warranty.

BYD ATTO3 is priced between Rs 33.99 and 34.49 lakhs, while the Atto 3 Extended Range is available in surf blue, parkour red, boulder grey, ski white, and forest green. It features an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), seven airbags, parking sensors, a seat belt reminder, automated climate control, and an overspeed warning.

MG ZS EV

The British automaker MG launched the electric vehicle MG ZS EV in March 2022 with three variants – Excite, exclusive, and exclusive ionic ivory. It is a five-seater electric car. The top variant is automatic with a 50.3 kWh Hi-tech battery and a motor that produces 173 bhp and 280 Nm of torque, claiming a 0-100 kmph sprint in under 8.5 seconds. A 50 DC fast charger takes 60 minutes to complete 0-80%. A 7.4 AC charger takes at least 8.5 to 9 hours to charge fully. It has a top speed of 175 km/h and a driving range of 461 km. This electric car has a sport driving mode and an eight-year battery warranty.

Volvo launched the electric vehicle Volvo XC40 Recharge P8 AWD in July 2022. It is a five-seater electric car. The top variant is automatic with a 78 kWh lithium-ion battery and a motor that produces 402 bhp and 660 Nm of torque, claiming a 0-100 kmph sprint in under 4.9 seconds. A 50 kW DC fast charger takes 68 minutes 150 kW DC takes 31 mins to charge fully. A 7.4 AC charger takes at least 12 hours to charge fully. It has a top speed of 180 km/h and a driving range of 418 km. This electric vehicle has an eight-year battery warranty.

The Volvo XC40 Recharge P8 AWD electric car is available in onyx black, fjord blue, thunder grey, sage green, and crystal white, with a starting price of Rs 56.90 lakhs. In addition to seven airbags, a panoramic sunroof, parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, Push Button Start, and cruise control, the Volvo XC40 Recharge P8 AWD features automated climate control, and overspeed warning, boasts an electronic braking force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control and anti-lock brakes (ABS).

Hyundai Kona Electric

In July 2019, Hyundai Kona Electric launched via the CKD process in two variants: Kona premium and kona premium dual tone. It is a five-seater, electric car with eco, eco+, comfort, and sport driving modes. The top variant is automatic with a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery and a motor that produces 134 bhp and 395 Nm of torque, claiming a 0-100 kmph sprint in under 9.7 seconds.
