Workhorse Group has formed a strategic partnership with 40-year automotive industry veteran Prefix Corporation for the final design, development and production of the Workhorse NGEN series all-electric delivery van. This partnership signals a key step in moving forward following Workhorse’s change of leadership in February 2019. The two companies are now focused on building an underlying platform to support 1,200 ft 3 , 1,000 ft 3 and a 650 ft 3 capacity delivery vans.

California DMV proposes regulations for autonomous light-duty delivery vehicles

The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) released proposed regulations that establish a path for companies to test or to deploy light-duty autonomous motor trucks (delivery vehicles) on the state’s public roads. The release of these regulations marks the start of a 45-day public comment period, which ends 27 May 2019.

Hyundai Motor, Korea East-West Power and Deokyang to build 1 MW hydrogen fuel cell power facility using NEXO technology

Hyundai Motor Company signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with local energy firms Korea East-West Power (EWP) and Deokyang to generate electricity from hydrogen. The pilot project conducted under the MOU will deliver a 1 megawatt (MW) hydrogen fuel cell power facility, with Hyundai Motor building the fuel cell system, EWP managing the facility and sale of electricity, and Deokyang supplying the hydrogen.
