In Europe, Volkswagen has launched a new ID. family top model as part of its ACCELERATE brand strategy: the ID.5 electric SUV coupé and the sporty ID.5 GTX with dual-motor all-wheel drive. Like the ID.3 and ID.4, the new ID.5 is manufactured at the Zwickau plant and both models are carbon-neutral on delivery to the customer. Volkswagen ID.5 GTX and ID.5 Pro Performance.

Volkswagen on Wednesday teased a prototype version of its Microbus-inspired ID.Buzz electric van that could closely resemble a production version due for customer deliveries in 2023. Volvo Cars has sold 581,464 cars worldwide in the first 10 months of 2021, up 12.6% compared with the same period last year. In October, Volvo Cars global sales reached 50,815 cars, down 22.2% compared with the same period last year. The decline was related to a shortage of components which affected production but the demand for Volvo Cars’ products remained strong.

Car buyers who ultimately end up purchasing Tesla electric vehicles end up having the longest average auto term loans, a new study from LendingTree says. LendingTree surveyed over 29,000 auto loans spanning over three years to conclude that Tesla drivers are applying and receiving the longest term loans. On average, Tesla drivers have an auto loan term of 67.1 months, slightly more than Ram at 66.3 months, Kia at 64.8 months, GMC at 64.6 months, and Land Rover at 64.3 months.
