California’s EV market continues to grow, according to data gathered by Veloz , a non-profit which tracks and reports on growing electric vehicle (EV) sales data in California, market trends, and infrastructure build-out. Q1 2022 was the state’s strongest quarter for electric vehicle sales to date, with 81,292 electric vehicles sold—29% higher than last quarter.

Tesla's recent move to stop including its mobile charger as standard equipment has raised eyebrows, but Tesla isn't the automaker to do that recently. Tesla removed the mobile charger, which is a cable with a NEMA 14-50 plug that allows cars to charge directly from those outlets, in late April. Explaining the decision, CEO Elon Musk claimed on.

The health of residents living alongside a bus route in Gothenburg, Sweden, improved when hybrid buses were replaced by buses fully powered by electricity. Accompanying the lower noise levels from bus traffic was a reduction of fatigue, day time sleepiness and low mood, a study at the University of Gothenburg shows. In the fall of 2019, all-electric buses were introduced on bus route 60 in Gothenburg.

General Motors has remedied nearly half the vehicles in an expanded, ongoing Chevrolet Bolt EV battery recall, according to a quarterly report on the recall campaign published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Wednesday. First spotted by Reddit users, the report shows that as of April 22, 26,925 vehicles out of a total.

ATM Milano has placed another order for electric buses made by Solaris, going for another batch envisaged in the framework agreement for 250 vehicles. The first two batches, 140 electric Urbino buses in total, have already been delivered.
