TVS Motors plans to manufacture 25,000 units of TVS iQube electric scooters per month

TVS Motor, one of India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers, has announced plans to double its sales of electric two-wheelers by March. The company also plans to launch a number of brand-new products over the next 12-18 months to expand its iQube line.

According to a TVS Motor executive, the company will launch a wide range of products with battery capacities ranging from 5kWh to 25kWh. The move is in line with the company’s goal of staying at the forefront of India’s rapidly developing electric two-wheeler market. The company is now targeting 25,000 units per month to meet the high demand for scooters.

Launched in January 2020, TVS Motor’s iQube electric scooter has been well received by consumers. The company now wants to build on that success by launching more products in the same category. The iQube is powered by a 4.4kWh lithium-ion battery that can travel up to 75km on a single charge.

It is worth noting that TVS set up a limited number of dealers in Bangalore during the early stages of production, but has since expanded to 22 cities across India. The company’s plans to launch brand-new products in the electric two-wheeler segment are in line with the Indian government’s drive to promote green mobility in the country. CEO said: Quarterly sales of electric scooters have doubled, and the momentum continues in the fourth quarter. The number will exceed 100,000 by the end of this fiscal year.”

TVS Motor’s plan to double its sales of battery-powered two-wheelers in the coming months underscores the growing demand for electric two-wheelers in India. The company’s newly launched products are expected to appeal to a wide range of customers, from those looking for low-cost transportation to those looking for high-performance e-scooters. TVS Motor’s plan to expand its iQube line and double its electric motorcycle sales by March demonstrates the company’s commitment to green mobility.

This is a step ahead of its competitors in the rapidly evolving electric motorcycle market. It is a strong sign of an effort to go forward. India. This initiative could also drive iQube adoption in the market. It is clear that the company recorded 11,000 deliveries in December 2022.
