Volkswagen unveils 5-seat Atlas Cross Sport Concept plug-in hybrid with 26-mile AER; mild hybrid option

After recently showing the new Touareg in Europe and China, Volkswagen is now debuting a new version of its Atlas midsize SUV at the New York International Auto Show: the Atlas Cross Sport concept. A five-seat version of the 7-seat Atlas that went on sale in the US in 2017, the near-production concept car features a coupe-like profile, an even sportier stance, and a plug-in hybrid drivetrain with 355 horsepower and an anticipated 26 miles (42 km) of all-electric range.

Wärtsilä VOC recovery system for LNG systems can save tons of fuel each year for two new shuttle tankers

The technology group Wärtsilä will supply its Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) recovery technology, LNG fuel gas handling systems and the auxiliary engines for two new shuttle tankers being built for Singapore-based AET Tankers at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard in South Korea.
