Global Clean Energy buys Bakersfield refinery for $40M, converting to produce renewable diesel

Global Clean Energy Holdings, Inc., through a subsidiary, has purchased Alon Bakersfield Properties, Inc., a subsidiary of Delek US Holdings, Inc. and the owner of the Alon Bakersfield Refinery. The total cash consideration paid to Delek US Holdings for the purchase was $40 million. Alon Bakersfield Refinery is an existing oil refinery located in Bakersfield, California.

Lublin orders 12 more Solaris Urbino 12 electric buses

The public transport operator in Lublin, Poland has ordered twelve Solaris Urbino 12 electric buses, to be delivered from November 2021 to April 2022. The total value of all the contracts for ordered electric buses with seven charging stations and after-sale servicing exceeds PLN 32 million (US$7.6 million). The contract for the delivery of electric buses was signed with the Municipal Transport Authority (ZTM) in Lublin on 8 May 2020.

IHS Markit: global oil production now expected to be cut by as much as 17 MMb/d in Q2 2020; the Great Shut-In

The second quarter of 2020 will see the largest volume of liquids production cuts, including shut-in production, in the history of the oil industry, according to IHS Markit. IHS Markit now expects much as 17 MMb/d total liquids output (which includes nearly 14 MMb/d of crude oil production) to be cut or shut-in during the period between April and June 2020.
