's premium brand has started a massive recruitment drive after the brand's Chinese name was confirmed as Yangwang (仰望).

The brand is currently offering a total of 21 positions including product planning, user operations, digital experience, brand planning, marketing, media relations and retail, according to a poster today.

"We are a new automotive brand responsible for BYD's premium brand car sales business," the poster reads.

Candidates will need to have at least three years of experience within the automotive industry, with preference given to those with experience in the fashion and luxury industry or in the high-end automotive industry.

On November 8 BYD officially announced the Chinese name of its premium car brand -- Yangwang, which literally means "looking up".

The brand's official launch is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2023, when its first hardcore off-road model will be unveiled.

The brand's products are expected to be priced at RMB 800,000 ($111,300) - 1.5 million, with specific prices to be announced when the relevant models are launched.
