Although charging infrastructure is beginning to find its way into cities, it may be awhile until they are available in residential neighborhoods en masse. No single vehicle does it all even in todays petrol world. I still keep my van for those once a month cargo trips to Home Depot, etc. that my day to day car cant solve.
