Man makes his own electric car

An Indianapolis man has built his own electric car, US television station WRTV reported recently. While adapting cars to run on high doses of biofuel is fairly common place, DIY electric cars are not. Patrick Roth adapted his Ford Escort to run on electricity alone after conceiving the idea while running his hybrid Lexus.

Chrysler unveils new electric minivan for the US Postal Service

Reply ↓ ↑ report 4 Kumar 1:03PM (4/22/2009) Indianapolis has boatloads of Chrysler minivans for its routes, so I imagine wed be a target city. Clearly they do not intend on replacing those vehicles which is a shame because they make up a majority of the postal service vehicles in my city.
