Neste launches Neste MY Renewable Diesel made 100% from waste and residues in Finland; initial customers

Neste recently launched a renewable diesel made entirely from waste and residues under the brand name Neste MY Renewable Diesel at select service stations in the Helsinki region today, 9 January 2017. The feedstock selection available for Neste’s renewable diesel has been successfully expanded to more than 10 raw materials.

Toyota’s diesel line-up in Western Europe to be made compatible with HVO100 diesel fuel

Toyota’s toughest, body-on-frame models in Europe are to be made compatible with HVO100 diesel, a non-fossil fuel made from 100% renewable sources such as waste cooking oil. Both the Land Cruiser and Hilux will join the Proace family of light commercial vehicles in being compatible with HVO100 diesel.

Neste to begin selling 100% renewable diesel in Finland

Last Christmas, 40,000 Finnish households donated the waste fat from their Christmas hams to the charity campaign “Kinkkutemppu”—which literally translates into Ham Trick. Sales of Neste MY Renewable Diesel expands to Neste Truck stations for heavy vehicles in Finland

The distribution of Neste MY Renewable Diesel, produced entirely from waste and residues, has expanded to the Neste Truck network for heavy vehicles in Finland. The product enables up to 90% lower greenhouse gas emissions throughout the life cycle of the fuel compared to conventional fossil diesel.

VTT and partners to assess bio- and waste-based oils suitable for power plants and ships; BioFlex project

Neste to use May Day doughnut fat for renewable diesel feedstock
