Omnitek Engineering Corporation is entering the market in Peru with an exclusive distribution agreement and a $4.5 as the company’s exclusive agent in Peru. The conversion project, which is expected to commence in April and be completed over a two-year period, is being financed by the natural gas supplier GNC Energia Peru S.A.

All OEMs discontinued smaller diesel engines which was particularly difficult for the industry as high levels of sales came from diesel—Maruti Suzuki shifted to gasoline and CNG when 20% of their sales previously came from diesel engines. While Japan, Korea and the CIS countries recorded very low decreases.
