The Netherlands-based Terberg is introducing a new generation of electric vehicles with new EV technology, including the YT203-EV terminal tractor (which replaces the older YT202-EV) and the BC202-EV body carrier. The vehicles use DC chargers and can therefore be charged at standard charging stations. New generation YT203-EV.

ABB has delivered and installed Austria’s first network of direct current (DC) fast-charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs). All Terra systems in ABB’s installed base are supported by the Network Operations Center (NOC), which provides remote maintenance, software updates and industry-leading backbone network uptime.

The Netherlands-based HyET BV (Hydrogen Efficiency Technologies), has achieved a milestone in electrochemical hydrogen compression, reaching for the first time a single-stage pressure increase of more than 400 bar. The electrochemical compression of hydrogen consumes DC power.

Power and automation technology group ABB has started installing multiple fast-charging systems for electric vehicles (EVs) at some BP service stations in the Netherlands as part of a nationwide trial. Prestige GreenCab, a Dutch taxi operator with a large electric-vehicle fleet, took the initiative for the installations in Utrecht.

That's about to change, beginning with a Tesla pilot project in the Netherlands. Tesla recently opened 10 Superchargers in the Netherlands to owners of other EVs, accessed via a new mobile app. Naturally, Tesla plans to charge higher electricity prices versus Tesla owners, who after all helped bankroll the network.
