Honda marked the opening of Honda Smart Home US, showcasing technologies that enable zero net energy living and transportation, including Honda’s home energy management system (HEMS), a proprietary hardware and software system that monitors, controls and optimizes electrical generation and consumption throughout the home’s microgrid.

Electrify America and the City of Sacramento announced new projects that will increase access to zero-emissions vehicles (ZEV) in the Sacramento region, expand ZEV technology use, and prepare the City for future electric vehicle adoption. The enhanced route will start in 12 to 18 months once the electric bus manufacturer begins deliveries.

The Flagstaff EAA was thrilled and honored to have EV Jerry and his plug-in hybrid car "the Spirit of DC" visit on Sunday 2/22. It does this by running on electricity part of the time and on gas for the rest. The electric power comes from either the gas engine or by plugging it in to a regular wall socket.
