In 2020, 70 per cent of new vehicle sales in Norway were EV. Slovenia, Iceland, the Netherlands, Ireland, India, Denmark, Sweden, Israel, Germany and the United Kingdom all have 2030 deadlines. Volkswagen predicts more than 70% of the Volkswagen brand’s European sales will be EVs by 2030, up from a previous target of 35%.
