Hydrogenics Corporation will supply a 1MW electrolyzer and provide engineering expertise to a consortium of companies working on the European project MefCO2 (methanol fuel from CO 2 ) in Germany. Installations of up to 200 MW can be implemented relatively rapidly and efficiently operated. MHPSE is acting as the system integrator.

While our initial collaboration focused strongly on European projects, we are now focusing on synergies in all key markets. Production machinery is now being installed and the start of production is planned for mid-2014. This cross-supply volume initially amounts to about 1,300 units for the Japanese market.
