EV extravaganza at Noosa Expo

Queensland’s holiday hot-spot of Noosa hosted its fourth EV Expo on Sunday, with thousands attending the free event.

Noosa Junction’s main street was closed off to welcome the latest models from local Hyundai, Mazda, BMW, Mini and Polestar dealers, plus electric motorcycles, scooters, bikes, trucks, vans and coaches.

Independent electromodders also showcased their wares, as did local school Matthew Flinders Anglican College with its electric converted 1974 Land Rover Series III.

We were able to get close to a Honda E – the first one imported into Queensland by Nathan Gore-Brown – and were impressed by its cabin dimensions and wow-factor technology, including virtual mirrors.

Here’s our gallery of all the EV goodness from the Sunshine State.
