Federal Incentive Programs

EPA | Clean School Buses:

The Environmental Protection Agency wants to fund school transportation services to electrify their school bus fleets. For districts and companies, EPA funding will cover electric buses (Class 3 to Class 7+) and the infrastructure needed to charge them. Get funded to upgrade your outdated diesel school buses with the EPA and receive application help and installation support with Noodoe. 

NEVI Program:

The U.S. Transportation Department has approved plans for a massive American EV charging network. All 50 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, started the buildout process in 2023, but there is still an opportunity for NEVI funding. Act sooner rather than later!

CIF Program:

The U.S. Department of Transportation also wants more publicly accessible charging infrastructure, and they have $2.5 billion to make it happen. Colorado

  • Charge Ahead: The Colorado Energy Office program is funding thousands of EV charging projects to improve air quality, reduce transportation emissions, and support the growing EV-driving population. Apply with Noodoe and receive up to $250,000 per project at your property. The Charge Ahead Colorado project has three rounds of funding every year.

Florida

  • Sarasota: Special county ChargeUP! Funding will grant non-profits/government organizations up to $4,000 and businesses up to $2,000 for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).
  • Duke Energy Corporation: The leading energy provider has several future-forward incentives, including lower electricity rates for customers who EV charging.

Massachussets

  • MassEVIP: Rebates will cover 100% of the purchase and installation costs for Energy Star-certified Level 2 AC charging stations at qualifying locations. Government-owned locations can receive up to $50,000 per street address to make an electric-powered difference in Massachusetts. Funding is running out fast. Get your application ready with Noodoe!

Michigan

  • The City of Holland: This city program is offering funds for Level 2 and Level 3 electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE); apply with Noodoe, and you can receive up to $35,000.
  • Cherryland Electric Cooperative: This utility company is offering a $1,000 rebate for qualified commercial Level 2 charging stations, which can be used in combination with other Michigan rebate programs.

New Jersey

  • It Pay$ to Plug In: The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection approved Noodoe as a trusted provider for the It Pay$ to Plug In program. This program is open for any site supporting EV charging stations. That includes workplaces, multi-unit dwellings, and public community places.

New York

  • Charge Ready NY 2.0: The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) exclusively approved Noodoe as a qualified EV charging network provider for the Charge Ready NY 2.0 incentive program. Funding of $12 million is going fast for organizations that install Noodoe Level 2 EV charging stations, and our experts can help you design a site that is 100% cost-covered by program funds.   • Make Ready Utilities: The joint utilities special project will grant funding to eligible locations that install EV charging stations. It can be used in combination with Charge Ready NY funds. Save time, money, and effort and apply with Noodoe's help. 
  • New York's EV Charging Credit: If your business is located anywhere in New York State, you are eligible for New York's EV charging station incentive of $5,000 or 50% of the cost of assets. 

Oregon

  • Community Charging Rebate Program: The Oregon DOT program will offer between $4,250 – $5,500 to eligible businesses, multifamily home complexes, Tribal entities, and non-profits for installing Level 1 and 2 chargers. Rural and disadvantaged communities can cover up to 75% of eligible project costs.

Texas

  • Austin Energy RebateAustin Energy introduces dual rebate initiatives tailored for commercial property owners within the Austin region. Whether you aspire to autonomously oversee your charging network or become an integral member of the expansive Plug-In Austin ecosystem, Noodoe offers suitable charging hardware to meet your requirements. 

Vermont

  • Vermont Community EV Charger: The Department of Housing and Community Development wants to support EV drivers with more electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) installations. A total of $7 million is available for multi-unit residential properties, workplaces, and public locations. With Noodoe's help, your installation costs can be 100% covered by program funding.  

Washington

  • Washington State Department of Commerce EV Charging Program: This program has $65 million available for Level 2 and DC fast charging stations. Community sites are eligible for EV charging station incentives, including multi-family housing, underserved urban/suburban locations, and rural and tribal locations.
  • Charge Where You Are Program: This first round of multiple funding opportunities is focused on installing more Level 2 charging ports at publicly available sites. Fleet and workplace charging infrastructure can also benefit from up to 80% of project costs covered.
  • Multifamily Electric Vehicle Charging Seattle City and Light Program: The multi-unit dwelling-specific program for Seattle customers can enable you to install EV charging stations for residents where they are most likely to recharge – at home. Special offers are available for dual port or single port chargers.
