Ford Transit Connect van rated 30 mpg highway with 1.6L EcoBoost
01 February 2014
The Ford Transit Connect van has been rated with an EPA-estimated best-in-class highway fuel economy of 30 mpg (7.8 l/100 km) when equipped with Ford’s 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine.
A long Wheel base Prius can do twice as good.

@Harvey, this is a van, the Prius is a small MPV with a much smaller load space. You can't really compare them.
If you read the fine print in the ad, you see that the 2.5L 4 cylinder version is only 1 mpg worse than the 1.6 ecoboost.
So it isn't really such a big deal.
The diesel version would be more interesting.
I am sure they will sell nothing else in most of Europe.
