Mercedes teases new electric car Vision EQXX

Mercedes Benz a German automaker has released a new teaser image of the luxury electric car, the Mercedes Vision EQXX. It will be the new electric model for the brand which the company had announced a year ago.

In teaser we cant say much about it, but with the teaser image we can assume its some of the details, its front part looks similar to the AMG One.

We can see it in the shared monochrome image, the sloping image and distinctive taillights. It does features slim headlamps that are connected to the illuminated strip. It offers a wide lower entrance and a vented hood with the Mercedes logo on the top. Mercedes is also giving hints that Vision EQXX could be presented today during the “Strategy Update”.

The electric car is being developed by high performance power train group in the UK and it was hinted that it could provide a range of approximately 750 miles (1,207 km) on a single charge.

Amazon orders 1,800 Mercedes Benz electric vans for deliveries in Europe

Amazon a multinational technology company had last year made an announcement that it has ordered 1,800 electric vans from Mercedes-Benz for its European delivery fleet. This move is a part of the online retailer plan to run a carbon-neutral business by 2040.

Most of the electric vehicles from Daimler AG’s car and vans division will be in service this year. It has ordered 1,200 Mercedes-Benz larger eSprinter models and midsize eVitos 600.

It was the biggest order for Mercedes Benz for electric vehicles to date which includes 800 vans for Germany and 500 for the United Kingdom.

Amazon’s recent order for 100,000 electric delivery vans from Rivian Automotive LLC, a startup it has invested in. The Amazon Chief Executive Jeff Bezos said in a statement that the Daimler agreement was part of retailers “journey to build sustainable transportation fleet in the world.”

Suzuki Motor Corp 

Recently, the Japanese automobile company Suzuki Motor Corp has also announced that it will enter into the electric vehicles market by 2025 with its all-electric compact model to be made available for around 1.5 million yen ($13,626 or Rs 10-11 lakh) after government subsidies are taken into account. It has also said that its first market will be India.
