The bipartisan infrastructure deal represents an historic investment in EV charging infrastructure that will vastly accelerate the transition to electric vehicles. This investment is not just forward looking when it comes to eliminating range anxiety, but also for investing in the right kind of charging technologies.

The National Electric Vehicle Formula Program’s network connectivity standards will ensure that chargers can be remotely monitored to provide maximum uptime, and its interoperability standards offer the promise of a seamless customer experience.

We applaud President Biden and the Senate for their embrace of connected EV charging and their commitment to creating a national charging network that can evolve to meet future capabilities, technologies, and system needs.

The future of transportation is electric, and the bipartisan infrastructure package will put America in position to lead the next great wave in automotive innovation.
