Recap: EV Connect at FedFleet 2023

As a comprehensive federal EV charging solution provider selected by the U.S General Administration (GSA), EV Connect was honored to participate as an exhibitor at this year’s successful FedFleet Conference on January 24-26, 2023, in Washington, DC.

FedFleet is hosted by GSA and provides a unique educational experience for fleet management professionals which includes a wide range of topics from the electrification of the federal fleet, new GSA offerings, deep dives into policy, best practices surrounding aspects of fleet management, as well as expert panels.

This year’s in-person event brought together representatives from various offices in the GSA, the U.S Department of Energy, the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the U.S. Department of Transportation and over 30 other agencies and industry partners.

Accompanied with Schneider Electric Federal as a valuable co-pilot throughout the conference, EV Connect’s robust EV charging management solution was showcased alongside many of our hardware partner’s charging stations on display to demonstrate our software’s versatility. The EV Connect platform is built to easily adapt to many use cases and empower federal fleet operators to manage the complex infrastructure necessary to satisfy the evolving needs of EV fleets.

Many Federal attendees and guests who were first-time EVSE adopters had the opportunity to tap into our EV charging expertise and were impressed by our long-standing industry knowledge and established working relationships. They were able to experience real-time demos of our federal fleet solution and how it is customized for specific use cases based upon their business needs.

At the end of exhibit day and given we had multiple chargers in our booth, GSA asked if we could donate some for a photo opportunity in the EV pavilion at the general auto show with the Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm, and White House national climate adviser Ali Zaidi.

Overall, the 2023 FedFleet Training and Expo was an overwhelming success and far exceeded predicted attendee numbers which are indicative of our shared vision of building a better planet by enabling electricity as a transportation fuel.
