A first group meeting and two-day training course was held in May 2015 in Milwaukee to correlate with the EMCW 2015 Expo and Conference. Mircea Popescu of MDL were key contributors for many years.

The new electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire electric motorcycle—originally unveiled in Milwaukee during the company’s 115 th Anniversary this past Labor Day weekend—made its European debut at the Milan press conference of the EICMA show.

Speaking at the 2009 World Methanol Conference in Miami, Richard J. Addressing methanol marketers at the conference, LeBlanc noted that converting methanol into DME offers the methanol industry a new market for its product. He noted that DME is more widely produced and accepted in Europe and Asia.
