The Seoul Metropolitan Government started a test-run of LPI (Liquefied Petroleum Injection) hybrids from Hyundai-Kia Motors ( earlier post ) as taxis on 3 December. The Korea National Joint Conference of Taxi Association will select participating taxi companies and support the monitoring of its operation.

It will consist of seven laboratories and conference rooms for battery development, analysis, measurement, and process. In addition, researchers from Hyundai Motor and Kia will be dispatched to the center to participate as members of the joint research team, maximizing research synergy through close communication and sharing of expertise.
