Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. Generating electricity from wind and geothermal rather than a CO2 producing sources would help alleviate that problem. So I think its a safe bet for GM.
