Altigreen, a prominent player in India’s commercial electric vehicle sector, has announced a significant milestone in its commitment to green mobility. With a fleet of approximately 5,000 vehicles now traversing roads across 173 RTO jurisdictions in India, Altigreen has collectively covered a distance of 50 million kilometers. This achievement translates into a reduction of 5,300 metric tonnes of eCO2 emissions.

Dr. Amitabh Saran, Founder and CEO of Altigreen, shared “We are delighted to see the impact of our efforts towards green mobility. By mitigating 5,237 tonnes of CO2 emissions, we are not only contributing to a cleaner environment but also setting a benchmark for sustainable transportation in India.”

The eCO2 emissions saved by Altigreen’s electric vehicles are equivalent to 2.52 lakh tree-years. To provide context, this achievement mirrors the CO2 absorption capacity of 40 of Bangalore’s Cubbon Park or 14 of New York’s Central Park.
