Honda Ecological Drive Assist System (Eco Assist). A study by Honda in Japan found that drivers using the new Eco Assist system on the new Honda Insight hybrid improved their fuel economy on average by 10%, up to a maximum of 20%, after 300 drives. Reduces automatic climate control blower fan speed.

During its first month of sales, the Honda Insight has outsold its competitors in the hybrid market. Since going on sale in the UK, 229 Insight models have been sold ahead of its nearest rival the Toyota Prius at 198 units. The Insight 1.3-litre Move over Toyota Prius - there’s a new green car leader in town.
