SMUD Board of Directors adopts climate emergency declaration; carbon neutrality by 2030

The SMUD (2020 Sacramento Municipal Utility District) Board of Directors adopted a climate emergency declaration that commits to working toward an ambitious goal of delivering carbon-neutral electricity by 2030. Furthermore, SMUD has reduced the carbon intensity of its power mix, which is now 50% carbon-free on average.

Shell, Honda, Toyota collaborate on 7 new H2 refueling stations in California

California Environmental Justice Advisory Committee launches series of statewide meetings

The goal of these meetings is to get input on the state’s Climate Change Action Plan, also known as the Scoping Plan, that is currently being developed to cut greenhouse gases 40% by 2030.
