Clean Energy Fuels Corp. Clean Energy has also signed additional agreements throughout the United States representing their growing portfolio of natural gas fueling. Clean Energy announced that it has extended its liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply agreement with the City of Phoenix. Clean Energy has supplied the City with LNG for more than a decade. Orchard Supply Hardware has also expanded the number of CNG trucks it’s fueling with Clean Energy.

DOE awards $98M in tax credits to automakers and suppliers for clean technology manufacturing

FedEx Express doubles and diversifies all-electric fleet with 24 new units; adding more than 4,000 new, fuel-efficient vehicles in total

FedEx Express is bringing new all-electric delivery vehicles to New York City, Chicago and Memphis, and diversifying the existing Los Angeles fleet. In Memphis, FedEx Express is retrofitting existing vehicles to make them all-electrics, saving resources through using existing vehicle bodies. On high-mileage routes, FedEx is upgrading vehicles with 4,000 fuel efficient, lower emitting BlueTEC clean diesel Sprinter Vans. FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp.

New UPS-built fueling stations in Knoxville, Nashville and Memphis, Tenn., UPS was a founding Interstate Clean Transportation Corridor (ICTC) fleet partner, a group that established publicly accessible LNG fueling stations in California, Las Vegas, and Utah. UPS plans to purchase approximately 700 liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks and to build four refueling stations by the end of 2014. Once completed, the LNG private fleet will be one of the most extensive in the US.
