The new Phoenix 10kW waste oil generator will be powered by Cyclone’s WHE-25 engine—a compact, scalable waste heat engine—using a specially designed, clean emissions combustion chamber. Waste motor oil is a major source of contamination of waterways that can result in the toxic pollution of drinking water.

In the UK, the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST), together with industry stakeholders, have launched the Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme ( CVRAS ). Next year the Government will publish a comprehensive Clean Air Strategy which will address other sources of air pollution.
