ComEd to replace all LDVs in fleet with electrified vehicles by 2030

ComEd will replace end-of-life internal combustion vehicles with plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles, reducing fuel and maintenance costs and creating savings that will be passed on to customers. More than 200 of its vehicles have electric hybrid or plug-in hybrid electric systems and another 10 are all-electric vehicles.

Madison Gas and Electric Plans Electric Vehicle Charging Network

But the cheapest cities for EVs were Atlanta, Chicago, and Cleveland, while the cheapest cities for gasoline cars were Houston and Dallas. There was some crossover, however.

AT&T deploys 4,000th alternative fuel vehicle

The milestone vehicle, deployed in Chicago, uses compressed natural gas technology (CNG), and is one of 165 AFVs deployed by AT&T in Illinois. AT&T also operates a mix of other AFVs in its fleet in the state and nationwide, including all-electric and hybrid-electric vehicles.
