In my rear view mirror I watched a Los Angeles Sheriff’s car pull out of the Chevron and turn on both its blue and red flashing lights to pursue me down Ventura Boulevard. Midlife crisis be damned, I’d rather have this Tesla than any Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus or Porsche. Even I was surprised. Complaints?

As far as quick, Id give my left nut to own a Wrightspeed EV, so I could (quietly) blow the doors off Porsches and Ferraris. Id like to be a fly on the wall when an H2 franchisee asks to put in a hydrogen pump at Chevron. Lastly, hybrids & plug-in hybrids are an unfortunate diversion. The bottleneck is infrastructure.
