General Motors’ global electric vehicle development chief Frank Weber is moving back to Europe to join the Opel/Vauxhall senior leadership team. Doug Parks will takeover the Chevrolet Volt development team on 2 December. General Motors is making both of them available for a webchat today at 4 pm EST.
Parks was the leader of the global compact car team—the same architecture on which the Volt is based.

Hopefully he'll do a Voltec drivetrain for Opel branding.
