m still planning on using # 12 gp 27 deep cycle batts as my power pack I hope that gets me at least 40 mi. As I have a charging station at work. I know that I?m m killing everyone with minute, but I?m m very proud of the work that I?ve ve done so far. The motor and transmission is now mounted in the truck, motor mounts have been fabricated, placed and are rock solid. Tomorrow I will raise the drive wheels and give her a good testing of the drive train.

Apparently the alarm is indicating a timeout that the charge cycle is taking too long for the capacity of batteries that I have. If I charge overnight, I wake up in 40 degree weather and the pack is very warm, around 80 degrees with vigorous "boiling." After doing some analysis yesterday, it looks like the batteries are not getting past the initial "bulk" charging phase. I think my battery pack is dead after 8600 miles and 1.5 years.
