The bias against lightweight, low speed electric quadricycles such as the UK’s best selling electric vehicle, the REVA G-Wiz, is highly questionable. They are therefore considerably more environmentally friendly: there is less embedded carbon in the manufacture of the vehicles, less carbon emitted well-to-wheel, and less energy consumed.

The car maker will develop the car in conjunction with Reva, the manufacturer of electric vehicles, best known for its G-Wiz models in the UK. General Motors India and Reva Electric Car Company announced today in New Delhi the signing of an agreement to cooperate in the development of electric vehicles for the India.
