Starting immediately, Deutsche Post is offsetting any unavoidable CO 2 emissions due to mail transport with investments in internationally recognized and certified climate protection projects at no extra charge. For the last ten years, DHL has transported all parcels for private customers with its climate-friendly “GoGreen” service.

The bill, SB-233 , aims to advance grid resilience and protect the climate by using EVs as “batteries on wheels,” tapping their stored energy to balance electricity supply and demand rather than bringing high-polluting peak generators online. SB-233 covers school buses as well so they can power V2B and fleet depots use cases.

The BMW Group presented the first BMW iX5 Hydrogen vehicles in a pilot fleet that will go into service this year. The fleet of less than 100 vehicles will then be employed internationally for demonstration and trial purposes for various target groups. Hydrogen is the missing piece in the jigsaw when it comes to emission-free mobility.

The demand is enormous—especially in the fields of aviation and shipping, but also to decarbonize existing vehicle fleets.
