The THINK EV-Ready Cities Index was presented by THINK CEO Richard Canny at the Electric Drive Transportation Association Annual Conference and Meeting at the Washington Auto Show. San Diego, Portland and Sacramento were rated fifth, sixth and seventh putting four cities in California in the top-15 index.

My first electric car was a Think City, produced when the company was owned by Ford. This "smarter than Smart" city car was a revelation to me when I leased it in 2001. When California Th!nk Nothing would please me more than seeing the Think City again on San Francisco streets.

If they can deliver quickly enough to California, a rebate of $4000 - 5000 should kick in as well. nk is apparently looking to quickly sell 150 of the vehicles they are putting together in Elkhart, IN. Offer ends December 31. Add in the federal tax credit, and the electric two-seater is down to around $28,000.
