A new study by researchers at the University of Toronto examines the impact of the interaction between driving patterns (distance and conditions) and the mode of electricity generation (e.g., C1 is shorter than C2, which is shorter than C3). For their study, as in their previous work, they used an 8 kWh intermediate battery capacity.

Zipcar Launches Car Sharing Club with Hybrids, PHEV and EV in London

Car-sharing operator Zipcar and the Westminster City Council in London have launched a new car sharing club fleet that will initially include 20 hybrid vehicles and will offer members access to the country’s first all-electric car club vehicle, a Citroen c1.
