A new study by researchers at the University of Toronto examines the impact of the interaction between driving patterns (distance and conditions) and the mode of electricity generation (e.g., C1 is shorter than C2, which is shorter than C3). For their study, as in their previous work, they used an 8 kWh intermediate battery capacity.

Car-sharing operator Zipcar and the Westminster City Council in London have launched a new car sharing club fleet that will initially include 20 hybrid vehicles and will offer members access to the country’s first all-electric car club vehicle, a Citroen c1. There are an additional 48 charging points in the council’s secure car parks.

The fleet will initially include 20 hybrid vehicles and offer members access to the country’s first all-electric car club vehicle the Citroen C1. According to studies, each car club vehicle removes around 20 privately owned vehicles from the road with the cars to be located within easy walking distance of offices and homes.
