The announcement follows press reports from the Geneva Motor Show that Daimler, BMW and Volkswagen would pursue CO 2 (R744) as the refrigerant for MACs instead of R-1234yf (developed by Honeywell and DuPont). BMW and Volkswagen followed suit. Earlier post.).
